Winter camping on the Little Belt
Open all year from 1 November 2026
From 1 November 2026, noordwind camping galsklint near Middelfart on Funen is open through the winter for the first time. You camp right on the Little Belt (Lillebælt), at the edge of the Hindsgavl Dyrehave deer park: pitches and cabins from one night, heated shower blocks and showers included in the price. Peace, clear air and a quiet sea on your doorstep.
What is open in winter
- Pitches for caravans and motorhomes from 1 night, in the designated winter area of the site
- Bike cabin for 2, standard cabin (approx. 20 m², up to 4 people) and comfort cabin (approx. 25 m², up to 6 people, own bathroom and kitchen, minimum 2 nights), all heated
- Heated shower blocks, showers included in the price
- Indoor shared kitchen, free of charge
- Kiosk open daily 8 am to 8 pm, pay by card at the self-checkout
- Guest sauna, expected from 1 November 2026
- Digital check-in: you receive your PIN code by email and drive straight onto the site
Winter on the Little Belt
The access road leads through Hindsgavl Dyrehave, where fallow deer and red deer roam freely. In winter, the paths along the water and through the beech forest are almost empty. Middelfart is just a few minutes away by bike, and Odense and Kolding are a short drive. We celebrate New Year's Eve without fireworks.

Winter prices 2026/27, Low season, per night
- Comfort pitch, 2 adults incl. 1 vehicle: DKK 250 (approx. €34)
- Premium pitch, 2 adults incl. 1 vehicle: DKK 308 (approx. €41)
- Child under 11: DKK 62 (approx. €8.31), dog on the pitch: DKK 29 (approx. €3.89)
- Bike cabin incl. 2 adults: DKK 360 (approx. €48), final cleaning DKK 155 (approx. €21)
- Standard cabin incl. 2 adults: DKK 455 (approx. €61), final cleaning DKK 320 (approx. €43)

- Electricity: DKK 14.50 (approx. €1.94) per day plus DKK 5 (approx. €0.67) per kWh
