We love a good dose of sport on vacation. In addition to extensive hiking and cycling tours and various water sports activities, you can also enjoy many other sports around our vacation destinations. Do you like to play tennis or padel tennis, want to relax with a round of golf, or go bowling with your friends? Then you can look forward to a varied active vacation at one of our destinations.
The region around Lüneburg is a true paradise for golfers. In addition to two award-winning 18-hole courses right next to Lüdersburg Castle, there are many other golf clubs and resorts in the immediate vicinity. In neighboring Lüneburg, you can play tennis or badminton at the Kreideberg sports park or chase your friends through a laser tag arena. There is also a popular escape room here called Salzlösung, which visitors rave about online! If you prefer more relaxed activities in your free time, you will find a fishing club in Scharnebeck and, in the immediate vicinity of your accommodation, the Leuer riding facility, where you can find excellent accommodation for your horse during your riding vacation.
Is exercise on and around the water your thing? The immediate proximity to the Elbe River offers you many different options. Guided canoe tours allow you to experience the beauty of nature from a new perspective. You can find accessible areas of the Elbe riverbank near you at Vorland Sassendorf or Vorland Barförde. You can swim at Inselsee and Reihersee, both of which are located right in the neighborhood.
With the Pay & Play Sport offer, you can take advantage of a wide range of sports activities around Middelfart. In addition to padel, tennis, and badminton, you can also book an entire hall for you and your friends. There is also a bowling alley where children's birthday parties can be held. In Fredericia, just a few kilometers away, you will even find a sports center that is one of the largest facilities in Denmark.
And what about water sports? With the Little Belt right on your doorstep, you have all the opportunities that the Baltic Sea has to offer. The campsite has a bathing jetty from which you can jump into the cool water. If you have a boat, you can of course bring it with you and launch it at our slipway. Sailing enthusiasts will have great fun at the Fyn Cup and the Rund Fünen Regatta.
With its unspoiled underwater world, the Little Belt is also a paradise for divers. In the immediate vicinity, there are several beaches, such as Føns Vig and Ronæs Strand, which are ideal for windsurfers and kitesurfers. And thanks to the often calm waters in the inlets of the Baltic Sea, the Little Belt is the perfect place to set sail in a canoe, kayak, or on your SUP board.
