We love the water. Do you? Then we have a few great tips for you on where you can swim, go canoeing, or simply relax on the beach nearby.
The immediate proximity to the Elbe River offers you many different opportunities for activities in and around the water. Guided canoe tours allow you to experience the beauty of nature from the water. Accessible areas of the Elbe riverbank near you can be found at Vorland Sassendorf or Vorland Barförde. Swimming is particularly popular at Inselsee and Reihersee, both of which are located right in the neighborhood.
With the Little Belt right on your doorstep, you have all the opportunities that the Baltic Sea has to offer. The campsite has a bathing jetty from which you can jump into the cool water. If you have a boat, you can of course bring it with you and launch it at our slipway. Sailing enthusiasts will have great fun at the Fyn Cup and the Rund Fünen Regatta.
With its unspoilt underwater world, the Little Belt is also a paradise for divers. There are several beaches in the immediate vicinity, such as Føns Vig and Ronæs Strand, which are ideal for windsurfers and kitesurfers. And thanks to the often calm waters in the inlets of the Baltic Sea, the Little Belt is the perfect place to set sail in a canoe, kayak or on your SUP board.
