Two destinations, countless experiences
Galsklint Strand Camping, Denmark
Our campground is located right on the Little Belt, surrounded by the Lillebælt Nature Park and Hindsgavl Dyrehave. From here, you can reach Middelfart, Fredericia, and Kolding in just a few minutes—and Legoland Billund or Odense, the hometown of H.C. Andersen, in under an hour.
The region offers unique experiences: bridge walking on the old Lillebælt Bridge, porpoise safaris to one of the world’s densest whale populations, and the traditional Sankt Hans Midsummer Festival—which we’ll celebrate right here at the campground on June 23.
HofGut Bockelkathen, Germany
Apartments and tiny houses on a historic HofGut between Hamburg and Lüneburg. The perfect base for city trips to Hamburg’s Harbor Birthday or the DOM, hikes through the blooming Lüneburg Heath, and cultural discoveries in the Wendland.
In August, the natural spectacle of the year awaits you: the heathland bloom transforms the landscape into a sea of purple flowers—right on your doorstep.
Season Highlights
April kicks off the season—with Easter bonfires, spring markets, and the first signs of green in the heath and Dyrehave.
May beckons with bridge adventures: The Lillebælt Half Marathon crosses the legendary bridge, while in Hamburg, Harbor Birthday celebrates the world’s largest harbor festival.
June is the golden month—midsummer, long evenings, and festivals like Rock Under the Bridge or the Heartland Festival. And of course, our Sankt Hans Aften right here at Galsklint Camping.
July brings that midsummer feeling: classical music at the Hindsgavl Festival, jazz in Copenhagen, and fairground fun at the Summer DOM in Hamburg.
August winds down with the heath in bloom, the H.C. Andersen Festival in Odense, and the last warm days at the beach.
